WHAT IS ONLINE COACHING?

Online coaching is an in-depth training experience that offers you the knowledge and support of a coach whilst giving you the freedom and independence to work out whenever you want.

Together, we will create an action plan to reach your long-term objectives and we will break it down into short-term targets to aim for on a week-to-week basis. I will design a training program and nutrition plan suited to your experience, preferences, health and fitness status, and lifestyle.

You will have access to me directly via email or text message and will also get the opportunity to provide detailed feedback in your check-ins.

WHAT I OFFER

  • A complete, progressive training program for your home or the gym
  • Customised calorie and macronutrient recommendations
  • Nutritional education, so that you can create your own meal plans, tailored to your personal preferences and lifestyle
  • Nutrition and training guides, so that you can learn how to make the best of your eating habits and workouts
  • Regular check-ins, in which I answer all of your questions and adjust any aspect of the program if needed
  • Additional coaching calls to review progress and plan for the future​

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER YOU APPLY

  • You will receive a response within 72 hours. If your application is successful, I will book you in for a complimentary video consultation, which will last between 45 and 60 minutes. You do not need to make any financial commitment at this time.
  • During the consultation, we will discuss your goals, exercise and health history, and current lifestyle, so that I can help you choose the coaching option that will benefit your situation the most.
  • If we decide we make a good team, I will set you up as a new client and prepare your training program and nutrition plan.
  • At every check-in, you will receive targeted questions to let me know how well or not well you are progressing. Based on your responses, I will make revisions to the training program or nutrition suggestions if necessary, answer any queries, and give you feedback on your lifting form, mindset, habits, and any other point you might have raised.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT ME

This is what I believe in:
  • HABIT-BASED COACHING. I will educate you on how to create long-term habits to not only achieve the desired results, but also to maintain them even if you have to stop working with me.
  • COACHING INDEPENDENCE. You will be given tools and plenty of support, but ultimately you are the only one who can do the work. If you need frequent and perhaps face-to-face support, online coaching might not be for you. Luckily, I offer a remote or local face-to-face personal training service on this page.
  • DETAILED FEEDBACK. I do not believe in one-word answers from either the client or the coach. I give my clients extensive feedback on how they can improve in order to continue making progress, and they provide me with detailed check-ins so I have a full picture of their situation and can help them as much as they deserve.​

WHAT I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT YOU

  • You’re at least 18 years old.
  • You don’t have any medical condition or injury.​
  • You don’t take anabolic steroids.
  • You don’t want a quick fix, like a meal plan or a “10 Days to Lean” program, and you want to commit to coaching for at least three months.
  • ​You are willing to spend time learning what you need to do to succeed.
  • You give detailed answers in your check-ins, not one-word responses.
If you don’t meet these requirements, then we won’t be a good fit, but I will be happy to refer you to another coach who might be.

WHAT IS YOUR GENERAL COACHING PHILOSOPHY?
These are the three pillars of my coaching method:

If these pillars are upheld by both coach and client, then I believe you will get the most out of coaching.
WHAT IS YOUR GENERAL NUTRITION PHILOSOPHY?
These are the core principles of the nutritional approach I aim to teach my clients:

1) The fundamentals of healthy eating

2) Enjoyment and sustainability, which in turn breed adherence

3) Adequate energy intake for the goal being pursued, be it fat loss, muscle gain, maintenance, or performance-related

So I will not write you a rigid meal plan (which is also outside of my scope of practice). Instead, I will give you the tools to create a structure for your nutrition that can help you achieve your goals and enjoy your food choices.​
WHAT IS YOUR GENERAL TRAINING PHILOSOPHY?
Adaptation is the goal of training, and training provides the most potent stimulus for adaptation. In designing my programs, I combine the principles of exercise science and evidence-based elements with my own and my clients’ anecdotal experience. The program will be suited to the client’s current level and will be changed in a progressive fashion month by month to ensure continued progress and results.
IS A GYM MEMBERSHIP REQUIRED?
A gym and/or gym equipment are helpful but not necessary. I can design a home-based training program that will still help you achieve your goals. Effective training is based on exercise science principles, not on the equipment you have at your disposal.
HOW MUCH IS IT?
​Pricing is the same for every client, but there are different packages available depending on your needs and preferences.

I do not disclose pricing on my website for a simple reason: I would like you to choose me because I sound like the right person to help you, not because I am cheaper than somebody else.

The application form will give you an idea of the budget required, then the fee for your package will be disclosed during the consultation.
WHAT IS THE PAYMENT PROCESS LIKE?
You will make payments via bank transfer, GoCardless, or Square on a recurring basis.​
WHAT KIND OF COMMITMENT DO YOU REQUIRE?
​In general, I recommend you commit to coaching for at least three months, but you are welcome to cancel your subscription at any time.

You will be required to complete a check-in every one or two weeks, including:

  • Videos of some of your lifts
  • Feedback on the training program
  • Feedback on your current diet 
  • Any questions you might have

On a day to day basis, you will log some basic data, such as steps, hunger level, and stress level, based on your preferences and your goals.

Ultimately, you get as much out of online coaching as you are willing and able to put in.
